Medical Writer, Cardiff
As a result of continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or experienced Medical Writer to join us in our Cardiff office.
As a Medical Writer, you will have responsibility for creating and delivering high-quality medical writing and communication materials for our clients. Experience in haematology, gastroenterology, immunology, neurology or ophthalmology would be beneficial, as would experience in imaging analytics, artificial intelligence or digital health. This role offers a great opportunity to progress your career in interesting and rewarding ways.
For the trainee Medical Writer position, we are looking for an individual who has:
- a life science degree, preferably a PhD or postdoctoral experience
- a passion for communicating science
- a ‘can-do’ attitude that supports great team working.
For the experienced Medical Writer position, we are looking for someone who has:
- experience of a writing-focused role in the medical communications sector
- a track record of client-facing responsibilities
- ideally, experience of mentoring and/or training junior team members.
We are particularly interested if you have practical experience of developing machine learning algorithms for the analysis of medical images or other healthcare data.
