Senior Medical Writer (with instructional/learning design experience), Oxford
We’ve seen a huge increase in the number of e-learning projects we’re delivering as a business, and we’re developing a reputation as a leading provider in this space across pharma. As such, we have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience and a specific interest in instructional or learning design to join our busy team in central Oxford. You’ll work closely with our senior learning specialists and our Digital and Creative teams to design and to deliver innovative and engaging learning experiences for a wide range of audiences.
For this role, we are seeking a Senior Medical Writer with expertise in this area, who will lead the design of learning experience, delivery of training content, and development of digital and non-digital learning interventions, as well as supporting business development opportunities to continue the growth of our diverse training accounts. Projects you’ll work on include e-learning, mobile learning, virtual workshops, training slide decks, and internal learning communities and communications, and you’ll get to explore cutting-edge solutions.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about learning and development, understands adult learning theory and how to apply it, is comfortable working in a reactive and fast-paced role, and has the confidence to lead projects with support from a wider project team, with direct client contact and responsibility for success.
We are looking for an established and talented Senior Medical Writer who has:
- a science degree (PhD advantageous), preferably in life sciences
- 3–5 years of writing experience in a medical communications or pharmaceutical company
- significant and demonstratable expertise in instructional or learning design.
