I'm excited to learn industry best practices and network at the 2023 ISMPP Academy. As a Senior Project Manager, my expertise lies in successful execution. I’m eager to engage, connect and share insights with peers.
I’ve been with Oxford PharmaGenesis for over 3 years, and I currently work predominantly on early-phase non-oncology projects. I am looking forward to the publications planning content from the 2023 ISMPP Academy to gain some new skills as we continue to grow our business with this account.
I currently work as a Medical Writer on a variety of oncology projects. I am looking forward to attending the 2023 ISMPP Academy breakout sessions on developing publication plans, and the multiple workshops on the best practices in publishing scientific papers.
In my role as an Associate Consultant, I develop publications in the fields of HEOR and RWE. My favorite part about this job is that I get to learn about many different therapeutic areas along the way. I am looking forward to attending my first ISMPP event this year and learning more about strategic publications planning and how to leverage publication extenders. I also hope to connect with some of our clients in person and strengthen these relationships.
A big part of my role is coaching and mentoring to help different roles and functions to work together effectively. I always look forward to ISMPP meetings, particularly when I’m involved with an educational session. At this meeting, I’ll be talking about the latest developments in RWE and how to work with HEOR and RWE teams, which I hope will be a great opportunity to make some new in-person connections. That aside, I’m a big fan of Philly and expect to work off my jetlag with an early-morning run up the Rocky Steps …
I lead innovation initiatives across Oxford PharmaGenesis and support our clients and delivery teams in finding creative solutions to new and existing challenges. At the 2023 ISMPP Academy, I am most looking forward to meeting with early-career publications professionals to hear their perspective on opportunities for innovation in this space.
I’ve recently joined Oxford PharmaGenesis as a Medical Director working on an oncology account. Even though I have over 15 years of experience in publications, I’m looking forward to the 2023 ISMPP Academy to learn more about non-traditional publications plans and the impact of artificial intelligence in medical communications. I’m also excited to meet my new colleagues and hope to make some new connections.
From infographics to plain language summaries, publications enrichments can increase your reach, enhance engagement and comprehension, and drive real-world impact. Here’s how:
Friday 29 September
11:30–12:30 EDT
Sullivan Hub
Speaker: Richard White, Oxford PharmaGenesis
Publications professionals at all levels should have an understanding of real-world evidence (RWE) and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) data, as well as how they are generated and disseminated. Join our presentation at the ISMPP Academy to gain an introduction to both types of study.
RWE and HEOR complement randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and are important in decision-making. However, they may be more challenging to communicate because they are not as regulated (i.e. Good Clinical Practice) as RCTs and consist of complex methodologies and study designs.
At this presentation, Oxford PharmaGenesis COO Richard White will help you to learn the differences between RWE and HEOR, aspects of generating RWE and HEOR data, and how to communicate these data to relevant audiences.
Thursday 28 September
11:40–12:35 EDT
Sullivan Hub
Speaker: Tomas Rees, Oxford PharmaGenesis
In an evolving digital environment, we continue to explore ways to measure and increase the impact of published data. As publications professionals, how can you break away from traditional, linear publications planning and embrace options that will expand reach?
Join this presentation at the ISMPP Academy to explore new strategic ways of thinking about publications planning for a clearer path to success.
Led by Tomas Rees, Director of Innovation at Oxford PharmaGenesis, you’ll learn how to apply new strategies to increase the reach and impact of your publications plans, identify the best methods for analytics and collecting metrics, recognize ways to demonstrate value when requesting more resources, and assess new measures for impact.
