Oxford PharmaGenesis has joined the Oxfordshire Collective Business Fund, a way for the UK county’s local companies to make a genuine difference to communities by investing in local charitable organizations.

Hosted by the Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF), a charity that builds thriving communities through effective philanthropy, the fund brings together Oxfordshire companies keen to be good neighbours in the communities in which they operate.

This new partnership will enable Oxford PharmaGenesis to be more strategic with our company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals as we work towards the betterment of health, people and society.

A company to be proud of

Participating companies contribute £2000 or more annually to the Oxfordshire Collective Business Fund, which is held by OCF. These corporate donations contribute to OCF’s grant-making to grassroots local charities that support Oxfordshire’s most disadvantaged communities.

Oxford PharmaGenesis Executive Director Paul Farrow said:

Oxford PharmaGenesis is committed to ESG, promoting employee-driven fundraising activities and supporting charities in communities local to our global offices and beyond. We’re looking forward to working through the Oxfordshire Collective Business Fund to make a powerful difference to people’s lives as we continue to build a company that we can be proud of.

Making a positive impact on local communities

Donations to the Oxfordshire Collective Business Fund have already been used to help local communities by contributing to grants to tackle the increased cost of living.

For example, Citizens Advice in Banbury used a grant of £5000 to create an online drop-in service for clients struggling to access bespoke support quickly and easily.
