Oxford PharmaGenesis is proud to sponsor the latest CISCRP clinical trials education campaign to raise awareness and understanding of clinical research among minority urban communities in cities across the USA and among the wider general public.

The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) is an established leader in patient engagement. The non-profit’s latest campaign continues a longstanding mission to promote diversity in clinical studies by building trust and awareness across all populations.

Featuring a full-page educational advertisement and article in five different newspapers, print and digital, the campaign is set to reach more than three million individuals across Black, African American, Hispanic and Latino communities.

Our sponsorship of the campaign builds on Oxford PharmaGenesis’ ongoing commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), working in partnership with colleagues on the topics that matter to them, while maintaining and evolving our ‘great place to work’ ethos and our compassionate culture.

Oxford PharmaGenesis Director of Human Resources and EDI lead Jill Wund says:

“The healthcare industry critically needs diverse populations in clinical studies so that medications can be developed that are effective for all. Any individual from a diverse audience who is inspired to take part in clinical trials will help us all to take a big step forward.”

Oxford PharmaGenesis has previously sponsored CISCRP initiatives, including campaigns in spring and autumn 2021, to promote diversity in clinical trial participants.

Please join us in helping to spread the word about the importance of diversity among study volunteers who participate in clinical research. View the campaign and full-page educational spread here. Learn more about CISCRP’s International Education and Media Awareness Campaigns here.
