With the challenges presented over the past year, keeping in touch has been more important than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all in different ways, and a short conversation with a colleague, friend or family member about mental health has the power to make a big difference.
For this Time to Talk Day, our Mental Health First Aid Team are encouraging open conversations about mental health, and to listen to each other and start to change the negative perceptions of mental illness.
Just because we can’t meet in person doesn’t mean we should emotionally distance ourselves from each other at this difficult time. Be open-minded and support each other, and, together, let’s help to end the stigma around mental health.
